US-based RB Media, a large audiobook producer, has acquired German audio publisher ABOD. ABOD was established in 2012 by its chief exec Rudi Singer and publishes non-fiction audiobooks particularly economics and politics titles. RB Media, itself established in 2017 through the amalgamation of several independent audio publishers, is owned by KKR. It already publishes over 50k titles globally. Terms not disclosed.
