US ‘diversity’ job sites merge

WayUp, a sourcing platform for diverse candidates, is merging with Yello recruitment services. Both companies are US-based, VC-backed digital services targeting college students, leavers and young people. Yello has a presence in the college sector in 150 countries, while WayUp has a strong US college presence.

Together, the companies will have a staff of 200 and separate brand identities under the Yello corporate umbrella. Both firms are strong in data analytics, helping client companies to assess the success of attempts to diversify their recruitment. They will have a presence across 7,000 campuses covering 6m candidates, of which over two-thirds self-identify as female, black or Hispanic.
