Roku, US operator of the free to air Roku Channel, is considering the purchase of streaming rights to content from the unsuccessful short form video provider Quibi.
Quibi has medium term rights to streaming the content but does not own any content outright. It remains unclear which content may be transferred. Roku has a base in sales of media players but is expanding its content offer aggressively, distributed via the Roku app.
