FT launches Inside Politics

With an eye on the growing incursions of Axel Springer (publisher of Politico and Business Insider) into its market, the Financial Times is launching Inside Politics, a newsletter which will replace its current UK politics newsletter. It aims to give readers “the inside track on the most important stories and trends in British politics and policy”.

Inside Politics will be sent to subscribers every weekday morning, arriving in inboxes for 9.30am UK time. Editor Stephen Bush said: “Inside Politics is your essential weekday guide to power, policy and public opinion in the UK, keeping you up to date with the FT’s award-winning politics and policy coverage and providing fresh insight and intelligence into everything that matters across political and policy debates.” Bush joined the FT after seven years at the New Statesman, as political editor. He also wrote the NS politics newsletter, Morning Call.
