121 Media, LLC has acquired 14 weekly newspaper brands (with a total audience of 750k – about one-third in print) in the Dallas, Texas suburbs from Star Media Local (owned by S.A.W. Advisors). It is the first acquisition for 121 Media, based in Frisco, Texas, owned by Rick and Elizabeth Rogers.
