CherryRoad Media, of New Jersey, is buying Colorado title Trinidad Chronicle News, a local weekday daily founded in 1877. CherryRoad Media (founded in 2020) has a portfolio of 30 papers across eight states, including via a 20-brand acquisition from Gannett. Last week, the company acquired another Colorado paper, La Junta-Tribune Democrat. Terms not disclosed.
