The US-based, private equity-owned Mindbody, which sells software to help businesses fill classes and appointments, is buying ClassPass, the developer of an app that connects users with fitness classes, gyms and other services like beauty experiences and spas. ClassPass was most recently valued by venture investors at $1bn, although terms of the sale have not been disclosed.
