Vernon Publishing, based in Missouri, in the US mid-west, is to buy a selection of local news titles from Gannett. Vernon is a family-owned local paper publisher. The acquired titles include: Lake Sun, Lake Lifestyles Magazine plus property, leisure and holiday titles focussing on the area. Terms not disclosed.
