Byju’s, the 10-year-old, $16 billion educational technology company, headquartered in Bangalore, India, has acquired California-headquartered reading platform Epic for $500 million in cash and equity.
Epic operates a digital reading platform for children aged 12 or younger, which claims to be in 90% of US elementary schools.
Byju’s is India’s largest startup and one of the world’s largest education tech companies.
