Hopin, the UK-based digital event management company, has acquired events analytics company Boomset. Boomset, now with 40 staff, was founded by Kerem Baranand. Hopin, founded in 2019, has grown from six employees at the start of 2020 to over 660 across 45 countries. It has raised over $550m in funding. Hybrid events are expected to double in 2021 and to remain a permanent part of the events sector post-pandemic.
