Oxford University Press (OUP) and the UK’s Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) have reached a comprehensive ‘Read and Publish’ agreement to provide the country’s universities with access to OUP’s journals. It will allow authors to publish 100% of their original research open access in OUP journals. The non-profit JISC: operates shared digital infrastructure and services; negotiates sector-wide deals with IT vendors and pubslishers; and provides independent advice for universities, colleges and learning providers.
