GL Events Group of France, organiser of the Premiere Vision textiles trade show, has acquired Tranoi, the 22-year-old fashion exhibition organiser. GL has become increasingly global with events now in the US and China, as well as France. Its re-scheduled laboratory expo took place last week in Nanchang, with 1,000 Chinese and international exhibitors (up from 870 in 2019), and attendance of 35,000 over three days (+50%). GL Events had revenue of €1.2bn in 2019.
