Snack buys sports brands

London-based Snack Media Ltd (SML) has agreed to buy the online media division (including the GiveMeSport brand) of Bragg Gaming Group, of Canada. The deal is expected to complete by end-May. SML was established in 2007 and serves an audience of 30m sports fans through multi-platform content.

The company partners with the National Football League, The Cricket Paper and others. The deal is expected to be worth up to £400k but only £50k of this is an upfront payment, with the remainder derived from future revenues.

Bragg Gaming will now concentrate on gaming and gambling.
