The WBE management team within London-based Nineteen Events have completed their MBO, separating eight magazines and digital platforms plus the Safety and Health Excellence Awards. The new entity will become Western Business Media.
The two companies will continue to cooperate closely with the bought-out magazines continuing to partner with events which will remain under Nineteen’s ownership. Nineteen Group CEO Peter Jones said “After one year of the backing of Phoenix Equity Partners, we are growing at a rapid pace and have ambitious plans to grow the Nineteen Events portfolio further organically and with additional acquisitions.”
