Latino Media Network launches

The Latino Media Network has been launched by two entrepreneurs following a $80m fundraise. The start up will focus on content creation audio products aimed at the Hispanic market supplemented by talent development and distribution services. There has been a surge of interest in Hispanic specific product offers in recent months and tailor-made products are increasingly gaining traction against English language substitutes.

The two founders of the company, Stephanie Valencia and Jess Morales Rocketto, have raised the funds from a diverse range of investors. The firm is also acquiring 18 radio stations from TelevisaUnivision for $60m in cash in key Spanish language markets across cities in the US.
