Decrypt Media, an online cryptocurrency news feed, has been spun-off its incubator parent Consensys Mesh and raised $10m from investors at an enterprise value of $50m. The company was founded in 2018 and has grown to an estimated 5m monthly users, covering cryptocurrency and blockchain news and developments.
The company, which aims to invest in content, live events and video, also brands NFTs for clients and works on metaverse activation. It operates a decentralised news feed called PubDAO for companies in fashion, real estate and entertainment seeking to exploit to metaverse opportunities.
