Elsevier to buy Interfolio

Academic publisher Elsevier, a subsidiary of RELX, is to buy Washington DC-based Interfolio to add to its Research Intelligence insight unit. Interfolio is a research output tracking service established in 1999 with a reach across 400 academic institutins across 25 countries. One of its key brands Researchfish, has caused controversy after reporting academics’ social media comments to funding bodies.
