Farmers Edge, of Manitoba, Canada – a digital information company in agriculture – has agreed to buy the online marketplace CommoditAg, which was founded in 2017 and combines e-commerce with agricultural knowledge. The company connects 14 retailers of seed, fertiliser, nutrition etc with 500 locations to 170k customers farming 70m+ acres.
