Skift buys hotels newsletter

Rafat Ali’s Skift, the online B2B news brand serving travel and tourism, has acquired the Daily Lodging Report (DLR) a paid-for US newsletter serving the hotel sector. DLR is believed to have up to 5k subscriptions. The brand was established in 1995 by Alan Woinski, a leisure industry analyst, and has operated as a subscription newsletter ever since with separate versions covering the Americas and Asia-Pacific. Woinski will remain as an editor of DLR but will continue to run his Gaming Industry Daily Report as a separate entity.
