GovExec, a US information company serving government and its suppliers, has made an investment in Power Almanac, a US local government personnel database. The deal will add over 250k government executive records across 21k cities to GovExec’s database. Power Almanac was founded in 2011 by Ron Mester. GovExec has recently acquired City & State New York and City & State Pennsylvania. Terms not disclosed, and the extent of Power Almanac’s integration within GovExec remains unclear.
