ClickHole bought by staff

The card game company Cards against Humanity has acquired satirical news website ClickHole from its beleaguered owner G/O Media. Both companies are based in Chicago. The five staff of ClickHole will become majority owners, with Cards Against Humanity supporting their operations. ClickHole launched in 2014 as part of The Onion.  It is thought that the deal has a value below $1m. Cards Against Humanity was founded in 2011 with a Kickstarter campaign and now claims to sell 100,000 units a month.
