Denmark-based Better Collective has acquired sports betting brands Vegasinsider.com and Scoresandodds.com, of the US, for a total cash consideration of $20m. Better Collective provides digital platforms for communities within tipping, bookmaker information and iGaming whilst Vegasinsider.com provides analysis, stats, betting odds and news for professional and college sports and gaming verticals.
The portals have been established for over 20 years and have expanded as online gambling has become liberalised on a state-by-state basis in the US. Vegasinsider.com and Scoresandodds.com together reach some 15m monthly uniques during peak sports activity. Better Collective will shift the subscription model of the two brands towards affiliate marketing and lead generation.
