The £900m Marlowe plc, a UK regulatory compliance services company, has bought Cedrec Information Services, a Durham-based provider of Environmental Health & Safety information. Cedrec has 1,000 subscribers to its SasS offer and the deal was valued at £3m on revenues of £1.3m and profit of £0.45m in 2021. The deal was structured as an initial payment of £2.4m in cash and £600k as potential earnout after 12 months. The deal follows Marlowe’s acquisition of Barbour EHS from Informa in July last year.
