Netherlands-based academic publisher Brill has agreed to buy of Wageningen Academic Publishers (WAP), an international academic publisher in Animal Science, Food and Health Science, Agriculture, Environment and Agribusiness. The company also publishes in the fields of humanities, social science, and international law. The WAP business includes books, journals and conference proceedings, with revenue of €1m in 2021. The acquisition is expected to should be earnings accretive in the current year.
