The Racing Post, UK-based horse racing daily (said to be read by Queen Elizabeth) is being put up for sale by Exponent private equity at a potential price of £500m. Exponent bought the brand in 2016 as part of its acquisition of Spotlight Sports Group which includes betting tips brands Free Super Tips, Pickswise, and My Racing in Europe and the US, with imminent expansion into Spain through a JV with Prisa Group.
