Open Road buys Bloodhound

Open Road Integrated Media has bought UK publishing company Bloodhound Books, based in Cambridge. The company, founded in 2014, has a backlist of 600 fiction titles with a particular strength in e-books. Total sales are claimed to have reached 6m copies. The Bloodhound brand name will be maintained.

Open Road started in 2009 and has developed a 11k digital backlist. It has more recently rebranded as OR/M.
