The Vietnam-based e-commerce firm Society Pass Inc (SoPa), has acquired the $5.8m-revenue Thoughtful Media Group (TMG), a social commerce-focused, premium digital video MPN which is based in Thailand with operations also in the US, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Since its launch in 2010, MPN has uploaded over 675,000 videos with over 80bn video views. The current network of 263 YouTube channels claims over 85m subscribers with an average 600m monthly views.
SoPa claims more than 2.1m registered consumers and over 6,700 registered merchants/brands on its platform.
