Fieldsports Press, based in Edinburgh, UK, has bought five shooting magazines from regional newspaper group Archant. The titles are Rifle Shooter, Clay Shooter, Sporting Shooter, Airgun World and Airgunner. The brands join the company’s existing Fieldsports Journal and Gundog Journal. The sale by Archant was prompted by its own acquisition by Newsquest with the company also divesting its France magazine publishing portfolio to Kelsey Media. Terms not disclosed.
