The Indian ed tech company Infinity Learn, owned by Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions, has bought 75% of Wizklub, also based in India, for $7.5m. Infinity intends to acquire the remaining equity over the next three years. Wizclub, founded in 2018, offers research-led education into thinking skills, coding, STEM subjects and chess. Its offer will supplement that of acquiror Infinity Learn which offers live lessons, online tests and results recording, and enables the company to launch Infinity Futurz targeting senior pupils with a work skills product offering. The company aims eventually to expand to all English speaking markets.
