Vox Media, of the US, has bought the podcast studio Criminal Productions as part of its expansion of audio and podcast content. The studio was founded in 2013 by Phoebe Judge and Lauren Spohrer with key titles focussing on true crime stories including Phoebe Reads A Mystery, Criminal and This Is Love. The acquisition may allow Criminal to develop into events and tv. Terms not disclosed.
