Three former staff of the Axel Springer-ownednewsletter company Morning Brew have joined forces to fundraise for a new newsletter platform launch called beehiiv. It is intended to become a competitor to SubStack and other companies joining the increasingly crowded newsletter platform market, including Google, Facebook, and Twitter. The new startup intends to focus on smaller names in newsletters, away from the existing big audience content creators. The seed-funding round has been led by Social Leverage with launch planned for November.
