GovExec, the US government information company which recently acquired Power Almanac, has made two further acquisitions to extend its move into public sector data and intelligence. One is Military Periscope, a source of data for the armed forces. The other is Government Contracting Institute, a public sector business leads database.
Both enable government and defence suppliers to identify potential business leads. GovExec brands include Government Executive, Route Fifty and Defence One. The company benefitted from financial backing from Growth Catalyst Partners. Terms not disclosed.
