Audio group iHeart Media (which is quoted on NASDAQ in the US) is to buy podcast service company Triton Digital for $230m from its parent EW Scripps. Scripps acquired the business in late 2018 for $150m. The price uplift reflects the rising heat in the podcast market. It is the latest in a series of deals by acquisitive iHeart following its purchases of Radiojar, Jelli and podcast marketplace Voxnest.
