ATI buys Groundsure for £170m

Australia-based ATI Global has bought the UK property location intelligence service Groundsure from Ascential Plc. ATI Global serves the legal sector with information and software. Groundsure business had £20m in revenue and £12.5m in pre-overhead profit contribution. The company, founded in 2001, is based in Brighton, UK, and offers property, environmental and land use data for residential and commercial property clients. The consideration is £140m in cash and a £30m loan note. 

ATI Global (Australian Technology Innovators) self-describes as “a world-class provider of legal technology, software and information services. The ATI portfolio of companies is headquartered in Sydney, Australia with over 800 employees and a heritage of continued technology innovation and customer excellence over its 20-year history”.
