Janes, the defence intelligence supplier, has acquired the defence market analysis arm of Avascent, also known as Global Platforms and Systems. Avascent will instead focus on consultancy. Janes was founded in 1898 and has developed into a global expert B2B information provider. In 2019, it was acquired by Montagu Private Equity.
