Hearst buys content library

Hearst Newspapers, a division of Hearst Corp, has bought a content library which it currently uses for its websites, from Leaf Group for $9.5m, in two instalments to be paid on signing and on completion. The two companies will continue to collaborate in content creation. Leaf Group is a B2C digital company with interests in lifestyle, wellness and fitness, including the Livestrong brand.
