Insticator, a New York-based B2B services start-up, has acquired commenting platform Squawk-It, also based in NY. Insticator allows publishers to add quizzes and surveys while Squawk-It facilitates moderated comments. It derives its revenue from ad space above the comments sections. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
