SPi Global (owned by the Partners Group) has acquired a majority stake in Learning Mate, a B2B edtech company which was founded in 2003 and operates across North America, Europe and India.
Learning Mate is predominantly a cloud-based tech company but also offers content and curriculum services. It was owned by US PE company Helix Investments, which will retain a minority stake. It will continue to operate independently with its founder and chief exec Sam Sen continuing in the role.
